Description: Spherical, one handle jug with a neck rib of the so called black-on-red ware. The painter applied his motives with black color on the red, mostly polished clay coating. This model has apart from the typical geometric circles a stylized bird on the shoulder. Jars like this were used as oil bottles or votive jugs.
