Condition: Except for some flaking completely intact.
Description: Impressive sculpture, a so-called Canosian false vessel which was made exclusively for funerary use. On the lower part a female head with an opulent diadem and large earrings flanked by two large palm leaves. Above a statuette of a woman with chiton and himation over the shoulders. She is wearing a veil, from her back originates a large, curved handle. Accompanied by a French antique passport.
