Condition: Left arm, right foot and left lower leg possibly broken in ancient time. The spear certainly ancient and possibly belonging. A figure of a strong, almost contemporary expression.
Description: Slender solid cast bronze figure of a nude Etruscan warrior in motion, throwing a spear with his right arm. The limbs and upper body are lengthy and stylized, eyes, nipples and navel punched, the mouth incised, the genital clearly accentuated. The warrior wears a round helmet indicated by almost circumferential incisions on the forehead. The ancient spear is separately worked out and inserted into the pierced fist. Mounted.
