Condition: The legs are broken on the ankles, yet a statuette of fine quality with beautiful red-brown patina.

Description: Rare and very finely worked bronze statuette of the falcon-headed god Horus in a striding pose. The deity wears a Pschent, the Double Crown, identifying him as the ruler of Upper and Lower Egypt, underneath a finely structured tripartite wig. The god with a collar and a three-part apron (Shendyt) holds his left bent arm on waist level, the right one is slightly raised. Attributes were probably once held in the hands. Mounted.
