Description: Fragment of a gilded mummy mask symbolizing with its abundant gold leaf decoration the golden flesh of the gods, that identically with the sun promises immortality. Face and ears in gold, the eyes white with black lines. Brows and iris also in black. The face framed by a red band, above the dark blue remains of the tripartite wig. Mounted. A fragment of beautiful quality.
