Provenance: Old French private collection, probably from the 1920s. Accompanied by a French antiquities passport.
Condition: One thread handle restored, a small stress crack on the edge, otherwise intact with beautiful iridescence.
Description: Rare kantharos of greenish clear glass with four applied, finely curved thread handles, starting on the rim and reaching to the lower end of the corpus. The kantharos stands on a thickened ring foot. The corpus with a slightly inward curved wall and on top an outwardly pulled, thickened rim. On an old metal base.
