Description: Wearable 18 carat gold ring with an exceptionally masterly worked out amethyst cameo depicting the portrait of a Hellenistic prince. The face with a straight, prominent nose, the mouth fleshy and slightly open. The thick, wavy hair pulled together with a fillet (tainia). The Hellenistic cameo is set in an elegant modern ring plate, open at the bottom, and framed by a finely drawn indentation.
