Provenance: From the estate of the French art dealer Evrard de Rouvre (1923-1979). Thence with his daughter Isabelle and her husband Francois van den Broek. Since then in the family estate.

Condition: The needle slightly bent, but intact.

Description: Small, abundantly decorated bronze needle with a club-shaped, hardly set off head. The upper needle shaft, the neck and the head are decorated with groups of transverse grooves. The intermediate fields have hinges, line decoration and fir branch pattern. The needle neck is transversely perforated.
