Description: Lifesize terracotta head of a boy with late archaic features. The face is finely modelled, with large, almond-shaped eyes, vigilantly looking out from thick lids. The nose is prominent and straight, and merges into the arched eyebrows. The mouth with a heart-shaped upper- and bulging lower lip is slightly open and revealing a smile. The short hair is carved with fine strands and whirls. The head comes from a votive statue. With very beautifully preserved color remains.
