Description: Perfectly preserved, thin-walled terracotta drinking cup dating to the Augustan period. The beaker worked out on the potter’s wheel is decorated with finely encircling incised lines and has traces of red glazing in places. The deep cup stands on a flat base with concentrical circles. The body with an oval form, above a bent and a massive outward curved rim. These oval clay beakers were mostly produced in Italy.
