Provenance: Viennese private collection H.S., acquired by the parents around year 2000 on the art market. Accompanied by copies of handover to the son.
Condition: Sinter on the surface, a stable stress crack in front of the face, otherwise intact.
Description: Small red-figure lekythos with curved handle from neck to shoulder. The scene depicts a female head facing to the right (“Lady of Fashion”) with prominent earrings, in front of her face a floral plant, on the sides stylized tendrils. Around the neck of the vessel dotted egg-and-dart ornaments.
