Provenance: Acquired 1987 in Blois, France, since then in family estate.
Condition: One fragment on the spout reattached, otherwise intact.
Description: Attic head oenochoe with very finely modelled features. The trefoil spout, the back of the head as well as the margins on the foot with black varnish. The eyes, eye brows, pupils as well as the iris also in black. The face is framed by three rows of stylized curls. Behind them a hair wreath of thick laurel leaves is painted on. A small head vase of high quality.
