Condition: Very beautifully preserved, intact.
Description: Large red-figure pelike depicting a nude Satyr chasing a maenad. The bald servant of Dionysus has a long tail and is trying to catch the maenad with outstretched arms. She turns towards her chaser raising defensively her right hand. The maenad wears a veil and a long chiton. The scene is framed above by an egg-and-dart motif and a dotted frieze on the sides. On the B side two young men facing each other holding sticks. The frame is also here an egg-and-darts motif above and a dotted frieze along the sides.
