Condition: Small chipping below the handle, otherwise excellently preserved.

Description: Attic beaker, so called kantharos, with geometric design on one side, finishing with meanders. On the other side floral patterns with spotted egg and dart ornaments on the base. This vase type is named after the French excavation in “La Motte Saint-Valentin” where this vessel-type was found.
