Condition: Minor chips on one side of the rim, otherwise intact and of fine quality.
Description: Skyphos of fine, thin-walled ceramic with red paint. The vessel stands on a set off, finely profiled foot ring. The corpus is slightly curved outwards and decorated with red bands and encircling wine leaves. The opposite, upward-facing handles originate approximately from the middle. Drinking bowls like the present one were found in the necropolis of Elaeus. A rare type. Compare the skyphos in the Louvre with the collection number Elé 107.
