Description: Exceptionally large and almost perfectly preserved amphora of green clear glass. The vessel has a thick, pear-shaped body with a flattened base. The shoulder flows semi-circularly and merges into a long, funnel-shaped neck, the rim is rounded on top. The two separately worked out band handles are ribbed. They start in a volute on the neck, make a sharp bend and end broadly on the shoulder. There, where the handles start on the shoulder, is a decorative thread applied around the neck of the amphora. From the Levant.
