Provenance: Private collection Dr. Peter Rudeck, Vienna, Austria. Acquired on 7 July 1992 from Gerhard Herinek in Vienna. With the original certificate (there incorrectly dated to the Greek-archaic period).
Condition: Left foot missing, the surface in some places rough. The separately worked out sceptre also missing.
Description: Small Roman provincial bronze statuette of Jupiter. The unclothed god stands with the weight on his right leg, the left free leg is slightly bent backwards. Jupiter holds a patera in his left hand stretched forward. His right arm is raised, in the hand he once held the separately worked out sceptre. Mounted on a plexiglass base.
