Condition: Lower legs professionally reattached, otherwise very well preserved.
Description: Hellenistic terracotta statuette of Eros from Canosa. The winged god with his hair piled up in the middle with preserved red pigmentation. His left leg is put forward and the wings spread out. With a blue cape over his shoulder, which he is pulling over his chest with his right hand. A tip of the cloak falls over the left hip of the otherwise undressed boy. The head is tilted slightly to the right, the face with fine features. Detailed statuette with wonderful paint remains. Mounted.
