Description: Abundantly decorated Daunian terracotta jug with brown and red painting. The vessel was shaped by hand using a modeling wood stick. The body is bulbous and stands on a flat base. The neck is concave, the rim far protruding. The handle runs from the rim semicircularly to the shoulder. The jug has a white primer and is painted with brown and red paint. The decoration is divided into horizontal registers, a wavy line at the top, below it a wavy band with dots, surrounding bands, bands with volutes, vines and floral decoration. Especially striking are the three-legged stylized animals painted in red and brown on the middle volute band as well as the stylized depictions of deers in the lower area of ​​the jug.
