Condition: Unrestored. A small ancient wear at the bottom of the scarab, which does not affect the object itself.

Description: Swivel ring made of one piece of gold wire with a semicircular band. Each end of the wire wraps around the opposite shoulder and forms at the same time the bezel for the lengthwise perforated, rotating scarab, made of lapis lazuli. It is flanked on the sides by two gold rings, which are intended to keep it in the centre when worn. The top of the scarab is naturalistically shaped with a clypeus (head shield) and an accentuated elytra (forewings). The bottom smooth. Ready to wear.
