Condition: Fragment of an amulet of extraordinarily beautiful quality.
Description: A particularly finely worked, published head of a Pataikos with a very rounded back of the head, the forehead broad. The dwarf god with finely drawn brows, narrow eyes with lid line and a friendly smile. On the back of the neck an eyelet for suspension. The Pataikos is a dwarf god with apotropaic functions who was very popular with the people. He is the natural depiction of a dwarf person and exclusively used in amulet form. Mounted.
