Description: Solid bronze cast of the nude Venus Anadyomene. She stands with her weight on her left leg and the right one is slightly bent. With her right hand the goddess is wringing out her long centre-parted hair. The left arm, wearing a bracelet, stretched away from her body, possibly to hold a mirror, which is missing today. The face with large eyes, thick brows and a pursed mouth, slightly formed to a smile. The body with fine curves. Venus wears on her feet sandals incised in cold work. Provincial, possibly Gallo-Roman style. Mounted.
