Description: Mould-blown unguentarium with an irregular ribbed corpus. These perfume flasks have the form of dates. It is even assumed that every glass is the impression of a real date. The neck is short, the spout far protruding outwards and thickened. The oldest dated examples are from Pompeii and Herculaneum. Date flasks were exclusively produced in Syria-Palestine. A very large example with a beautiful iridescence. Mounted.
