Description: Finely worked terracotta head of a woman made of grey clay. The woman wears a veil with a noticeable fold at the top, which suggests it to be dated to the 2nd century B.C. Despite the small size of the head, the hair is worked out in great detail, and a large earring hangs on the left ear. The features with high cheekbones and prominent brows are distinctive. On an old wood base.
