Description: Fragment of a head of a Cycladic idol of the Spedos type of white, fine crystalline marble. The head broadens upwards, has a round chin and long, sculpturally worked out nose, which broadens downwards. The neck is strong and rounded. The Spedos type is named after a graveyard on the Cycladic island of Naxos. Mounted.
