Condition: Legs missing. The back possibly reworked in ancient times in order to make the figure appear more sculptural.
Description: Marble statuette of a standing Venus with curled, centre parted hair. She wears a chiton and a himation wrapped around her stomach. The child god Eros sits on her shoulder holding the diadem on her head. Venus raises her right hand towards her shoulder and possibly holding an offering. Her left hand hanging down holds a small vessel. The sculptural group was once part of a larger relief. Mounted.
