Description: Very long needle with a spherical head ("Kugelkopfnadel") of cast bronze which is very typical for findings from the Urnfield period. The needle with a long shaft as well as an enlarged neck with horizontal fluted grooves. The head onion-shaped, on top flat and encircled with vertical grooves. The very long, massive needles were definitely not intended for daily use. They would have rather been part of the ceremonial costume of important personalities.
