Condition: One of the small spirals reattached, otherwise intact with wonderful patina.
Description: Spectacular Bronze Age broche or "Passementerie Fibula” with eight small and one large end spiral. Middle clamp, end spiral and loop-shaped needle holder as well as the needle on the back are formed with a thick bronze thread. On the middle clamp two parallel running wires fixed with collars. On these wires are on both sides each four spirals twirled in. This type was found in the area of today’s Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Mounted.
