Description: Proto-Elamite granodiorite amulet in the form of a bird of prey. The bird with raised head and deeply pierced eyes, which once held inlays. The resting wings are decorated with a chessboard-pattern engraving. The tail feathers are pointy. The amulet is vertically pierced from the back to the belly for suspension. With an old, inscribed collection cover.
