Description: Completely preserved and ready to wear Roman gold ring with a Niccolo intaglio depicting a soldier with spear to the left, who presents an offering while leaning on his shield. He wears a helmet with a long neck guard and cheek guards, has his sword tight around his hip, and the right arm with the offering stretched out. Behind him a shield and spear. An exceedingly finely cut intaglio with many details. It sits in an oval setting, with shoulders tapering towards the back. After a slight bent the ring merges into the hoop with a rounded outside. The inside is flat. Ready to wear.
