Provenance: American private collection prior to 1948, since then in a family estate.
Condition: Fragment of beautiful quality.
Description: Wood sarcophagus mask with finely worked features. The mouth with full lips, the eyes almond-shaped with black eyelid lines, white iris and black pupils. The brows elegantly drawn above. Part of the skin-colored, yellowish coating still preserved. Above the face a high raising part of the wig with red and blue color remains. On the back the wood pins and a separately worked wood piece for mounting on the sarcophagus still preserved.
