Description: Large glass flask on a concave base with a conical corpus and funnel-shaped estuary. At the bottom on the body are seven encircling indentations, with three encircling incised lines twice above them. The rim is rounded. Similarly large, conical flasks with estuary are known from Palestine, see for example “Römisches, byzantinisches und frühmittelalterliches Glas – Sammlung Ernesto Wolf”, Hatje Cantz 2001, number 106. The combination of indentations and incised lines underline the rarity of this glass.
