Description: Part of a Scythian horse harness. The iconography of the curled predator is highly individual like the Scythian people themselves. The equestrian people originating from Central Asia continuously tried to find openings along the Western borders where the Celtic tribes had settled down for centuries. The decoration shows high sensibility for the complete form and design. Animal motives were central themes, mostly predators in stylized form. On the back a loop for suspension of the harness.
