Provenance: Collection Thomas Jorda, Baden, Austria. Acquired by his uncle, who worked as the culture attaché during the 1950 and 1960s in Turkey.
Condition: Some chips on the rim, otherwise intact.
Description: Bulbous jar of black-grey ceramic with a spherical corpus, four knobs and a short neck. With a protruding rim. Wonderful geometric incised decoration on the corpus and on the neck.
